THE VIRTUAL MUSEUM

The Virtual Museum is a photographic history of Northport and the surrounding area.
Over the years, the Northport Historical Society has collected numerous photographs from various sources.  They are housed at the Northport Museum and are not seen by many people.  This 'Virtual Museum' is an effort to make these images widely accessible. This is intended as an educational project and it is hoped that making these photos available will help people learn about and preserve the history of this area.
As you peruse these pages on a computer, a click on a small photograph will often bring up a larger image.
